Monogrammed in center below image as well as numbered "25)" in lower margin. On smooth creme paper. 44,5 x 36 cm (17,5 x 14,1 in), size of sheet.
In Karl Hofer worked up the motif of this drawing in the painting "Die Wahnsinnige" (Wohlert 2010), which today is in possession of the Schlossmuseum Ettlingen. [KP].
The work is registered in the forthcoming catalog raisonné of watercolors and drawings, which is prepared by Karl Bernhard Wohlert, under the number 1694.
