Striking portrait of an aging Käthe Kollwitz in an excellent impression. Wrote Alexander von der Becke in a letter to Klipstein dated 6 June 1934: "Kollwitz created a new litho: 'Selbstbildnis 1934', I reckon its an excellent work of art. [..]" (Translation of quote after Knesebeck, p. 742). [DB].
