Vollersroda is the name of a Thuringian village near Weimar, Feininger did not only depict the local church in this energetic woodcut, but also in two paintings (cf. Hess 206 and 372). Copies of this print are in possession of, among others, the Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. [JS].
