Monogrammed upper right, dated and titled "Badende" lower right. Signed, dated and titled "4 Frauen (Badende)" on verso. 130 x 101 cm (51,1 x 39,7 in)
Work from the artist's later period, made in the studio at the Brunscwick School of Arts, however, it calls strong reminiscence of the peak time of the group SPUR. There were no name modeling for HP Zimmer, he created the figures from his own imagination; he wanted to paint in an drastic and exxagerated manner and avoid any extenuation. [DB].
