Plate 5 from the portfolio "Anno Santo", published by the Galerie Wolfgang Ketterer, Munich 1975 (with blindstamp). Schmidt-Rottluff states in a letter to the publisher of the catalogue raisonné, Ernst Rathenau, in 1964, that he had created the woodcut as early as 1919. It was not until 1964 that the artist found the woodblock again and had it printed by HAP Grieshaber. [NB].
