Wingler/Welz 524. Signed. One of only a few trial proofs before the edition. Auf Velin von BFK Rives (mit Wasserzeichen). On BFK Rives (with watermark) 44,3 x 47,2 cm (17,4 x 18,5 in). Sheet: 75,8 x 56 cm (29,8 x 22 in).Papier: 76 x 56 cm (29,9 x 22 in).
The watercolor of the same name from 1968 served as a model for this work. From the series of 15 lithographs in colors. Initially intended as portfolio, the prints were brought into commerce individually. Released by Marlborough Graphics Ltd., London 1976. [DB].
Condition B: Object in good condition. Minimally discolored or light-stained. Margins with minor blemishes, such as minimal handling creases, tiny splits and stains. Image with insignificant blemishes.
