Spiele. - Het echte Tramwayspel. 12 large color lithographed playing fields with street names, 60 color lithographed passenger cards , 20 colored lithogr. conductor cards , 12 tickets as well as 57 numb. playing cards (of 60). [Leiden, J. J. Sleijser around 1885]. Loose plates and cards on cardboard in illustrated color-lithographed boards case. 8vo.Papertoys p. 266. - Nice and early Dutch streetcar game. - The first streetcars were operated with horses in New York as of 1832. The first Dutch streetcars in the Netherlands served the lines from The Hague to Scheveningen and from The Hague to Delft as of 1864. - The streetcar cards in a size of 21 : 11 cm, playing cards and tickets n a size of ca. 3 : 3 cm, conductor cards ca. 1,3-1,5 : 4,2 cm, passenger cards ca. 1,5 : 2,2 cm. - Lacking instructions and 3 numb. playing cards. Few conductor cards broken. Case edgeworn.
