Zu dieser Zeit wurde die Sammlung des Botanischen Gartens dank der Aktivitäten der VOC besonders durch Pflanzen aus Ost- und Westindien sowie Südafrika ergänzt. - Titel unten mit ergänztem Randabschnitt, die letzte Tafel mit kl. Knicken u. Einrissen im rechten Rand, Vorsätze gelöst. Sauberes Exemplar.

Sluyter, depicting amongst other various species of aloes. Contemp. vellum. - Lower third of title page remargined, last plate with small tears and creases in right margin, endpapers detached. Clean copy.
