Text area 36,5 : 21 cm. 10 lines text and music notes, black rounded textura, column title and heightenings in red, black horseshoe nail notes on 4 brown lines. With 1 large decoratve initial in red, blue and gold as well as very many calligraphed initials with penwork decoration in red and black. - Contemp. calf over wooden boards on 5 bands with 2 brass clasps.

Slightly stained in places and with few wiped spots, first 5 ll. with large defective spots in upper corner ( damaged by mice , ca. 14 : 14 cm), first and last ll. reinforced in lower margin in former times. Binding rubbed, joints with small split, lower spine end chipped. else all in all decorative and large-sized manuscript in a strong wooden board binding, with some liturgical instructions in German 17th century script, as well as isolated additions, insertions.
