Nice series of decorative plates. - "These designs are intended for the use by decorative painters. It was our objective to attain a calm effect by means of simple forms and plain colors, however, not neglecting the demands of a distinguished taste." (translation of excerpt of accompanying text) - Each plate with number, printed on broad-margined firm creme boards. Size of images ca. 38 : 23 cm, size of paper ca. 48 : 32 cm. 16 plates in lithograph in colors, 4 plates in heliotype. Printed by C. G. Roeder in Leipzig. Well-preserved, inside clean copy.
