Copy with the white fastening strips, which Schwitters had attached to this issue as it was just in printing, after the scandal that followed his rejection from the 'Ersten Internationalen Dada-Messe' (First Intenational Dada Fair) in the art shop Burchard in June 1920. The front side with the lithographed inscriptions "Aus sanitären Gründen zugeklebt. Vorsicht: Anti-dada" ('Sealed for sanitary reasons. Attention: Anti dada') as well as "Man weise aufgebrochene Exemplare zurück. K. S. Merz. 1920" ('Reject opened copies' on rear). - With slight crease marks, orig. wrappers with minor blemishes. The sticker, as always cracked, somewhat blemished; al in all well-preserved copy. In matching private half calf wrapper and slipcase.
