F. Panzer (no copy in ). The first edition was released in issues in London in 1728-37, and counts among the first botanic works in colours - The splendid plates, which go back to the Dutch painter J. van Huysum, were excellently re-engraved by the Nuremberg miniature painter J. D. Meyer. - Somewhat stained in places, title with crease mark, old blindstamp and ms. ownership entry. Interims binding stronger scuffed and scraped, spine defective and incomplete. - Untrimmed inside clean copy on strong paper.
