The then important compendium of mathematics was first published in 1710, further editions followed over the first half of the 18th century. - Covers numeration, trigonometry, architecture, artillery, fortification, mechanics, hydrostatics, aerometry and hydraulics, with numerous illustrative coppers. - Binding defective, coppers partly detached and with marginal splits and creases caused by yapped edges, flying endpapers detached and removed respectively. Front board defective.
