Signed lower left. 35 x 47 cm (13,7 x 18,5 in).
Inscribed "Lüthorst" in pencil on verso. With an old label of the Galerie Heinemann, Munich, on verso.
Accompanied by a written confirmation from the Wilhelm Busch Museum, Hanover, from 16 May 2003. We are grateful to Dr. Ruth Brunngraber-Malottke for her expert advice.
The work has been included in the supplement of the catalogue raisonneé "Wilhelm Busch als Maler" under the number 1037.
