Signed lower left. On wove paper. 27,8 x 19,7 cm (10,9 x 7,7 in), the full sheet.
This work's authenticity has kindly been confirmed orally by Ms Naima Jornod and Mr Jean-Pierre Jornod, Geneva. We are grateful for their kind help in cataloguing this lot.
PROVENANCE: Private collection Rhineland.
The watercolor must be reagrded in connecton with the two paintings "Divinités marines" and "Divinités marines aux coquillages" from 1933 (cf. Jornod 151 and 152). The sheet is captivating with its typical style and the clear coloring. [EH].
In good condition. One tiny brown stain to upper margin.
