First edition of this atlas on France. With 4 engr. titles and 160 copper plates (of 220; with 202 views and plans and 6 maps) after M. Merian. Contemp. blind-tooled pigskin with 2 clasps and black-tooled signature "H. B. V. L. 1661" on front board. - Few ll. slightly browned, the map of France with small marginal tear, 3 plates detached. Binding somewhat stained, clasps incomplete. Engr. ex-libris.
