Jubiläum der WW, wurde nach den Angaben von Josef Hoffmann gestaltet und soll eine freie Interpretierung des Begriffes 'Kunstgewerbe' durch die Mittel der Buchkunst geben" [translation of quote: "The book, published on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Wiener Werkstätte, was made under supervision of Josef Hoffmann and is suppossed to be a free interpretation of the term 'applied arts' by means of the book art"] (Mrazek). - The lavishly made paper mâché binding was made by Vally Wieselthier und Gudrun Baudisch. Each page was individually designed in typography and divided in red, black, silver and gold. - Binding minimally rubbed, else well-preserved.
English orig. edition of the book that was published on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Wiener Werkstätte, which is suppossed to be a free interpretation of the term 'applied arts' by means of book art. Each page was individually designed in typography and with divided surfaces in red, black, silver and gold. Orig. boards in red-brown and black wth figurative relief print. - Binding minimally rubbed, else well-preserved.
