"Contains references to Columbus and Vespuccius" (Sabin). - Somewhat browned in parts, upper edge with ink stain, title and pastedown, occasionally with old underscores . Inner joints loosened, front endpaper removed. - Contemp. ownership entry and woodcut armorial bookplate on verso of title.
Folio edition of this chronicle, with references to America (cf. Sabin and Muller Cat. 1497). With woodcut printer's device and fig. woodcut initials. Contemp. limp vellum. - Partly some browning, upper edges with inkstain, title and pastedown with inkstains, some old underlinings. Inner hinges loosened, front endpaper removed. Armorial woodcut bookplate on title verso.
