Mackled. All in all minimally discoloured. With many small retouchings, mainly in the sheet's lower half and the sky (presumably because it used to be stored in a rolled state).
Oil on canvas.
Inscribed "[...] P. Panini" by another hand than that of the artist. 55 : 71 cm (21,6 : 27,9 in). Typical architectural capriccio, that was made after the famous Italian landscape and architecture painter. Panini likes animating his ancient ruins with figures in contemporary clothes. [AS]
