Excellent impression with full contrasts and burred, especially in the area of the mother and child, velvety overall impression with a fine tone
Trimmed to the image, with minor loss of image in left and right (ca. 1-2 mm). Skilfully remargined all the way round, with remains of an old mounting on upper margin. Smoothed centrefold, just visible on verso. Smaller brown stains, small isolated skinned patches in the left area. Isolated, tiny rubbings on recto. [HW]
