Sie zeigt eine fünfstöckige Arkadenfassade, in deren Loggien paarweise Autoren des Altertums miteinander diskutieren oder sich ihre Werke vortragen; unterhalb mit Blick in einen sechseckigen (Musen-) Garten. - Erste Bll. etw. fingerfleckig, vereinz. mit kl. Wurmspuren, einige zeitgenöss. Marginalien, 1 Bl. tintenfleckig, Titel mit alten Besitzeinträgen, 13 Bll. (inkl. Titel) mit altem Stempel der Klosterbibliothek Strahov in Prag. Insges. gutes und breitrandiges Exemplar.
Fourth edition by Froben. With splendid title-border by Urs Graf, 2 woodcut subtitle-borders, large woodcut printer's device at end and some woodcut initials. Contemp. binding over wooden boards with new leather-covering; 2 brass-clasps. - First leaves fingerstained, here and there with small worming, few contemp. marginalia, 1 leaf ink-stained, early ownership inscriptions to title, 13 ll. (incl. title) with stamp of the Prague Strahov monastery. Good copy with broad margins.
