Auf dem Titel die schöne Verlegermarke von Guerin, Titelrückseite mit dem detailliert ausgeführten Wappen Joh. Jakob Fuggers, dem das Werk gewidmet ist. "Like the Fulvio work ... Strada's Epitome originated in his own collection of coins and medals ... Although Strada mentions the care taken in designing and cutting the blocks for the woodcuts, which are more detailed than the Italian series, there is no authority for the attribution of the cuts to Bernard Salomon, as given by Baudrier" (Mortimer) - Erratabl. im Fußsteg beschnitten. First edition of this beautiful medaillion-book. With elaborate woodcut device of Guerin on title, armorial woodcut of J. J. Fugger on title vo. and almost 500 white-on-black woodcuts of coins and medals with fine emperor portraits (97 medaillons contain names only). New blindpressed calf in contemp. style. - Errata leaf trimmed to lower margin. Well preserved copy. Large bookplate of Rudolph Valentino.
