Alabaster, partly coloured. On marble base.
Signed and inscribed 'Firenze' on the reverse. 30 : 27,5 cm (11,8 : 10,8 in). Base: 3,3 x 24,4 x 14 cm (1,2 x 9,6 x 5,5 in). The Italian sculptor Emilio Fiaschi studies at the Istituto di belle arti in Florenz from 1883 to 1885. In 1890 he wins the competition of sculptors from Volterra with the bust of Mario Ricciarelli.
