• With his combination of biomorphic and angular forms reminiscent of propeller blades, Béothy alludes to the modern age's fascination with aviation.
• In 1931, Béothy was a founding member of the influential avant-garde group “Abstraction-Création”, which also included Piet Mondrian, Alexander Calder and Fernand Léger.
• The Museum of Modern Art, New York, is in possession of works by the artist
