• Delicate, floating composition in a combination of different motifs that is so typical of Chagall.
• Chagall used lithography as one of his preferred media.
• The Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt am Main recently dedicated the important and comprehensive exhibition "Chagall. Welt in Aufruhr" (Nov. 11, 2022 - Feb. 19, 2023) to Chagall's oeuvre.

Good overall impression. With mount staining. The entire sheet with handling marks, particularly in the margins, as well as with horizontal crease marks, probably due to a former rolling, partially with fine loss of color at the crease marks. The upper edge with narrow adhesive mounting folded over to the reverse.
