• Together with Markus Lüpertz and K.H.Hödicke, the artist founded the Produzentengalerie Großgörschen 35 in Berlin in 1964.
• Between 1974 and 1977 teaching assignment at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
• Associative reduction combined with painterly perfection.
• Works by L.M. Wintersberger are at, among others, the Städelmuseum, Frankfurt, the Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf, and the Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst, Gent.
