• With his black-and-white photographs, Nick Brandt creates an impressive homage to the endangered wildlife of Africa
• In London he first studied painting and film before he worked as a director in Hollywood for a few years and finally devoted himself to photography in 2001
• Filming the video of Michael Jackson's "Earth Song" took him to Africa for the first time, and he has been returning since then.
