Dube L 60. Ebner/Gabelmann 219 L. Signed, dated, titled and numbered "3". Monogrammed "H" in the stone. One of to date 5 known copies. On light paper. 18.2 x 32.6 cm (7.1 x 12.8 in). Sheet: 47,2 x 37,1 cm (18,5 x 14,6 in).

• Veyr rare. Of the four other copies three are museum-owned.
• To date only one other copy has been offered on the international auction market (sourcee: artprice.com).
• The other three copies are at the Brücke-Museum Berlin, the Museum Folkwang, Essen, and the Staatliche Kunsthalle, Karlsruhe.
PROVENANCE: Artist's estate.
Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (acquired from the above in 1998, with the collector's stamp, Lugt 6032).
EXHIBITION: Kunstmuseum Moritzburg, Halle an der Saale (permanent loan from the Hermann Gerlinger Collection, 2001-2017).
Buchheim Museum, Bernried (permanent loan from the Hermann Gerlinger Collection, 2017-2022).

Image in very good condition. Merely slightly and evenly discolored, a bit more obvious along the edges. Upper edge with kinks and crimped spots and a tiny split in right. With slight isolatd stains in places of the bottom edge and with tiny rubbings.
