• The work is a prime example of Kluge's examination of anonymity.
• In 1973 Kluge was co-founder of the 'Produzentengalerie Hamburg', until 2014 he taught at the 'Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste' in Karlsruhe
• The painting was part of the 2012 exhibition "Gustav Kluge. Egocinema" at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum, Ludwigshafen.
LITERATURE: Reinhard Spieler (editor), Gustav Kluge. Egocinema, Wilhelm-Hack-Museum, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, March 24 - May 28, 2012, ex. cat. with color illu. on p. 70.
In good condition. Tiny flaked spot in outer right margin from framing. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet lamp and to the best of knowledge.
