• Exceptionally vibrant and dynamic landscape in expressionist style.
• Scharl's paintings are at important museums like the Nationalgalerie Berlin, the Städel Museum, Frankfurt a. Main, and the Lenbachhaus Munich.
• Most recently, works by Scharl were on display in the exhibition “Kunst und Leben 1918 bis 1955” (Oct. 2022 - Apr. 2023) at the Lenbachhaus in Munich.
