• The combination of conceptuality and materiality is what makes César's work so appealing.
• From 1961, he was a member of the important avant-garde group "Nouveaux Réalistes", which also included Yves Klein, Arman, Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle.
• Participation in documenta II in 1959, as well as in 1964 and 1968.
• Works by the artist are in international museum collections like the Musée national d'art moderne, Paris, the Tate Gallery, London, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

In good condition. Slightly dusty in the recesses. A larger scratch in the plexiglass of the object box as well as some minor scratches and rubbing.
