Duthuit 640. Signed and numbered. From an edition of 200 copies. On Chine, laid on Arches wove paper (with truncated watermark). 28 x 23 cm (11 x 9 in). 49,7 x 37,6 cm (19,5 x 14,8 in).

• From a series of drafts for the Vence chapel.
• In around 800 graphic works, Matisse basically focussed on portraits and female nudes.
• Late lithograph, reduced to the purity of the line.
In good condition. Slightly soiled, minimally discolored along the margins, presumably from an old mount.
