Silkscreen in colors after the painting 'Mo' from 1954 (Beye/Baumeister 1976). The title 'Mo' is an bbreviation for 'Montaru'. Baumeister describes the title of a work series in a letter from 13 February, 1955 to Paul Wember as follows: "Mons=Mountain , actually flying mountain. Aru = phonetic sound for the respective color" (transl. quote after Beye/Baumeister, Willi Baumeister, Werkkatalog der Gemälde, vol. II, 1976, p. 768). [EH].
