Inscribed on the reverse and with an old label that is typographically inscribed with the artist's biography, also inscribed by hand on May 23, 1936: “The picture was taken at a lookout point on the Klobenstein (Oberbozen district). The young lady is the daughter of Simm. [..] grew up with the young Simm.” (transl.). 40 x 31.5 cm (15.7 x 12.4 in).

• In this work, Simm stages his daughter in a playful classicist style.
• After studying with Anselm Feuerbach and stays in Rome and Tbilisi, Franz Xaver Simm settled in Munich.
