Mit der handschriftlichen Widmung auf dem Vorsatz "pour Manel - très amicalement - Fevrier 1949". Manel war der Spitzname für Man Ray, der mit vollem Vornamen Emmanuel hieß. Zum Schluß der Druckvemerk "Achève d'imprimer par Jean Belmont, pour la première exposition des oeuvres de Wols à la Galerie René Drouin, 17, place Vendôme à Paris". - Mit Texten von Camille Bryen, Sylveire, Wols, Edgar Allan Poe, Maurice Maeterlinck, Jean Paul Sartre, H.-P. Roché.
