Verso with a label that confirms this sheets authenticity, signed by Dr. Otto Weigmann, director of the Royal Graphic Collection Munich (1918-1937). On wove paper by Franz Heinrich Fauth/Schnabelsmühle (with watermark). 19.3 x 27.3 cm (7.5 x 10.7 in), size of sheet.

"The following spring (1814) he showed up in Darmstadt with a fairly thick binder of splendid drawings he would give to the hereditary princess as a present. She graciously accepted them, just as they deserved it. In the following [..] it showed that Fohr had reached more with this diligently made binder than he could imagine.“
