I and II in second edition (1804). - Each of the extremely delicately colored plates shows one species, mostly with plants and the different stages of their metamorphosis. - Plates clean, slightly browned in places, 1 vol. with faint waterstain, flying endpapers slightly discolored. Binding hardly rubbed. All in all very nce copy in decorative binding.

First edition of vol. III-XVI, vol. I and II in second edition. - Contains 576 (568 colored) copperplates. Contemp. dark green maroquin with blindstamped border, bordered with 2 small gilt fillets, rich ornamental gilt spine, and gilt borders. - Plates clean, partly browned, 1 volume slightly waterstained, flying endpapers discolored. Binding marginal rubbed. All in all fine copy in a decorative binding.
