Einzige von Virgil Solis illustrierte Ausgabe der Schopperschen Bearbeitung des Reineke Fuchs. In einem signierten Meistereinband von Chambolle-Duru.

Erste Ausgabe dieser lateinischen Bearbeitung.

Einband: Brauner Maroquinband des 19. Jahrhunderts auf 5 Bünden mit goldgeprägtem Rückentitel, Steh- und Innenkantenvergoldung sowie Ganzgoldschnitt (sign. Chambolle-Duru). 8vo. 14 : 9,5 cm.- ILLUSTRATION: Mit 40 Textholzschnitten von Virgil Solis und Holzschnitt-Druckermarke am Ende.- KOLLATION: 12 nn., 284 num. Bll., 1 nn. Bl.- ZUSTAND: Etw. eng gebunden, Gelenke minimal berieben. Schönes, innen vorsichtig gereinigtes Exemplar.- PROVENIENZ: Goldgeprägtes Leder-Exlibris von Geneviève Dubois und Georges Flore. - Exlibris des Reineke Fuchs-Sammlers Herbert Kirmse.
