Signed and inscribed "Franz Stuck" in plate. Excellent impression on rolled Chine. 23,6 x 21 cm (9,2 x 8,2 in). Sheet: 53 x 37,8 cm (20,9 x 14,9 in).
The etching must be seen in connection with the painting "Luzifer" from 1890, which today is in possession of the National Gallery for Foreign Art in Sofia. Later signed "Franz von Stuck", as the artist was ennobled in 1906. [CB].
