HAB Wolfenbüttel, p. 65). The work is a sort of missionary handbook, by means of which Postel wanted to introduce Christianity as a global religion. - At the same time an early americanum : "A passage relating to America begins on p. 350" (Sabin). - Slightly evenly browned in places, with isolated small partly rebacked wormtracks, isolated contemp. marginalia. Boards slightly bowed. All in all clean and broad-margined copy.
