After studying at the Applied Arts School and the Städelsche Art Institute in Frankfurt, Richard Biringer moved into a studio of his own in Höchst. Industrial landscapes, empty of people and monumental, figure prominently in his work. Biringer demonstrates a style moderately adapted to New Objectivity in the present painting. [HL]
