Lower right signed and dated. With a barely legible inscription in right center. On light board. 45.3 x 60 cm (17.8 x 23.6 in), size of sheet.
Sheet 12 from the cycle "Im Tal des Todes". The cycle of 17 drawings was made between 1942 and 1944 in Palestina as a reaction to the Holocaust and was originally titled "Deutschland - Ein Schlachthaus" (Germany - A Slaughterhouse).
