Fischer am Strand. 1912.
Pen and India ink drawing.
Monogrammed in ligature in lower right and dated at a later point. On laid paper. 34.2 x 29.8 cm (13.4 x 11.7 in) , size of sheet.
The India ink drawing was made in 1912 during Pechstein's third stay at the remote fishing village Nida on the Curonian Spit. [CH].

This work's authenticiyt has kindly been confirmed by Mr Alexander Pechstein. We are grateful for his kind expert advice.

PROVENANCE: Private collection Northern Germany.

LITERATURE: Kunsthaus Lempertz, Cologne, 611th auction, 20th Century Art, December 4, 1985, lot 859 (with illu.).
