Signed in center at bottom. Verso of the canvas twice signed (once in printed characters) and dated "1987 (idée 1983)", titled and inscribed "987" as well as with the slightly differing dimensions. 131 x 115 cm (51.5 x 45.2 in).
The Vasarely Museum at Zichy Palace in Budapest with around 400 works by the artist openend in 1987, the same year this painting was made. [CH/EH].
• Most acclaimed Op-Art representative, celebrated in two retrospectives at Städel Museum in Frankfurt am Main and the Paris Centre Pompidou in 2019 alone.
• Important continuation of the famous series "Hommage à l'Hexagone" from 1964

Accompanied by a photo expertise from Pierre Vasarely, president of the Fondation Vasarely, universal legatee and holder of Victor Vasarely's moral rights, issued on February 11, 2005. The artwork will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné de l’Oeuvre Peint de Victor Vasarely, which is currently compiled by the Fondation Vasarely, Aix-en-Provence.
