Verso of canvas with a stamp of an artist supplies store. Frame and stretcher with several inventory stamps and labels, among others, of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Stuttgart State Gallery. [CB].

1938 compulsory sale, Florence Flersheim through Kunstsalon Hermes, Frankfurt am Main, acquired by Führermuseum Art Gallery Linz (verso of stretcher with the number 216)
1945 Central Collecting Point of the Allied Forces in Munich (verso of frame with the number 8939).
1949 transferred to the Federal Republic of Germany, since 1966 permanent loan at State Gallery Stuttgart (inv. no. L 906).
2010 restituted to the heirs of Florence Flersheim.
