Worky by Katharina Fritsch have been shown on numerous important exhibitions since the mid 1980s; especially worthwhile mentioning is the show at London Tate Modern (2002). Recently she made a name for herself with the work "Hahn/Cock": This five meter tall blue plastic sculpture of a cock will adorn the base of Trafalgar Square in London from 2013 to 2015, it has been causing some furor in Great Britain's capital. Katharina Fritsch, who has been professor for sculpting at the art acdemy in Münster since 2001, lives and works in Düsseldorf. [KP].
