Signed in scratched majuscules in lower left. Verso monogrammed and with stenciled work number and inscription "9615 Binder". 77,5 x 41,5 cm (30,5 x 16,3 in).
Expressive work by the versatile artist from Ludwigshafen. Influenced by Cubism, he depicts this half nude partly in broken forms and in geometrically outlined forms. Executed in unmixed colors, they make for a clear contrast. Merely the flesh color is an exception and makes for the all-dominating center of the picture. [DB].
