Nash, whose oeuvre become famous around the world as of the 1970s through numerous exhibitions, has been member of the British Royal Academy of Fine Arts since 1999 and received honorary doctorate from Kingston University the same year. Among his countless solo shows particularly worthwhile mentioning are the exhibitions at the French Château Chaumont-sur-Loire (2013), at the London Kew Gardens (2012) and in the Kunsthalle Mannheim (2008/09). David Nash lives and works in Blaenau Ffestiniog (North Wales). [DB].
