Signed lower right and on backing board respectively (2). Verso signed (2), dated (2) and inscribed (1) as well as with estate stamp (3), there numbered "21", "398" and "422" respectively. On different types of paper. Up to 36,3 x 49,8 cm (14,2 x 19,6 in), each the full sheet.
Willi Müller-Hufschmid, a representatives of New Objectivity, whose early works fell victim to a fire in his studio in 1944, regained creative urge after the war with a turn to abstraction. These sheets are late works showing various geometric forms and differentiated hatchures. The artist participated in documenta 2 in Kassel in 1959. [DB].
