Estate list p. 61, no.19. Signed and dated upper right. Signed, dated and titled on verso (partly pasted over by label) and inscribed "Dresden". Additionally with label, there signed, dated, titled and inscribed. 15,8 x 18,9 cm (6,2 x 7,4 in).
In this work Richard Müller creates a confusing-seductive situation: a girl sprawls on a bed with tousled sheets, a mutilated doll next to her. The artist clearly intended an enigmatic symbolism. The meticulous realistic execution of the details once again delivers proof of his poise. This work also is a second version of an earlier motif. [DB].
